Our Story
Rico Construction was started in 1998 by immigrant founders who came to Utah with a work ethic and not much else, and built a company one pour at a time. There was no inherited client list and no shortcut. Just the standard that the work had to be right, every time, or it didn't go out the door.
That standard is still the company. Today Rico is run by the same family, with the owner in the field on every job, and our reputation rests on the quality of the work we put in the ground. We earned it on custom homes in Park City, some of the most demanding concrete and excavation in the state, and we bring the same discipline to commercial and multifamily projects across Utah. The promise has not changed: done right, on schedule, and owned from the first stake to the final pour.

Owner-Accountable in the Field
The people who own the company are the people responsible for your project.
Field Operations & Safety
The license holder leads the crews, the safety program, and the equipment in the field. Quality control is everyone's job: every crew checks its own work before it moves on.
Preconstruction & Project Management
Budgets, scheduling, submittals, and communication run through one point of contact, so you are never surprised and nothing falls through the cracks.
Estimating
Complete, accurate bids with the scope clearly defined up front. You know what is included before the work begins.
How We Work
Five things we don't compromise on.
- 1
Own the work.
We take responsibility from the first stake to the final pour. No finger-pointing.
- 2
Build it right the first time.
Quality and tolerance are not negotiable, on a custom home or a commercial slab.
- 3
Communicate like a partner.
Clear, proactive updates. The client is never the last to know.
- 4
Respect the craft and the crew.
Safety, skill, and dignity for the people doing the work.
- 5
Earn the next job.
Every project is an audition for the relationship, not a transaction.

Our Commitment
Safety & Quality
Safety at Rico is a commitment the whole team makes, on every site. The people who win your trust are the same people on your job. A safe site is an organized site, and an organized site is one that hits its schedule and its tolerances.
Quality control is a team commitment. We control tolerance from layout through the pour, every crew checks its own work before it moves on, and we keep jobsites deliberately clean. For exposed and architectural concrete we build mockups and sample panels, so the finish is agreed on before the real pour, not argued about after it.
Equipment Inspections
Routine inspection of fleet and equipment so machines are safe and ready.
Site Housekeeping
Clean, organized jobsites as a habit, not a cleanup.
Bilingual Safety Briefings
In English and Spanish, so every crew member understands every time.
GC Alignment
We meet or exceed the safety standards of the general contractors we work with.
Our safety program and certificates of insurance are available to general contractors and developers on request.
